Óscar González is an Industrial Engineer based in Barcelona with expertise in data science, sensor development, and calibration through his experience in the automotive sector and in the Smart Citizen project. Óscar is the Sense Making lead as part of the Fab Lab Barcelona team, doing research and development, focusing on open hardware for environmental monitoring and tools for participatory sensing. Óscar works as a multidisciplinary researcher on various projects, spanning the development and implementation of open source technologies and low-cost sensors, including their application in citizen science initiatives, as tools for environmental and health assessment, and the interoperability of data across research infrastructures.
