Isak Shabani is Dean and Professor at the Faculty of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Prishtina “Hasan Prishtina.” He completed his PhD in computer science and engineering in 2012 at the University of Prishtina. His research interests include distributed systems, web services, HCI, systems design, ICT in education, and e-governance. He is the author and lead of the University of Prishtina’s key project “Digitalization of Academic and Administrative Services.” For four years, he served as the university’s representative in the European Distance and E-Learning Network. He has been coordinator and member of several capacity-building projects in science and education within Tempus, Erasmus+ framework, and Horizon 2020. He also served as a visiting professor for one week at the University of Nysa in Poland. Prof. Shabani has published a number of scientific papers in conferences and journals.
